Rockwatch is delighted to launch a showcase of this year’s Rockstars 2021 Competition Winners and Entries in a short movie.
The range and standard of entries was incredibly high, giving judges a difficult job in choosing this year’s winners. As Rockwatch Chair, Susan Brown comments,
“The Rockwatch competition continues to inspire many young geologists to produce a diverse range of projects, hopefully igniting a lifelong interest in our World and the geology within in. I congratulate all of our entrants for their efforts and enthusiasm and look forward to seeing them develop their interests in geology in the future.”
Rockstar entries are judged for their originality, geological content, geological accuracy, presentation, artistic or literary merit and inventiveness and knowledge related to age.
All entrants receive a prize for entering, and winners receive either money or a fabulous range of geology-related prizes.
