Great fossiling in Shropshire! This fabulous fieldtrip, taking place on Sunday 6 May, had to be cancelled earlier this year, but is now on!

You’ll be looking at rocks of the Silurian Period in the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation with Susan Brown and Eddie Bailey to guide you. You’ll be visiting a working quarry and the benches and tips in the quarry contain typical reef fossils including trilobites! Lots to find and take home with you!

It’s for over 7s only and all children must be accompanied.

Numbers limited.

You must be a Rockwatch member to go and the booking fee for this fieldtrip is £2.50 per person. All children attending and their accompanying adults must book places.

Due to safety requirements numbers are strictly limited for some of the events. It is essential in these cases that you reserve a place through the contact given. Leaders reserve the right not to accept members who have not booked, or who arrive inappropriately dressed. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
