We return to Dorset for our much-loved 5-day field trip from Monday 29 July to Friday 2 August 2024. This is summer trip with a difference for families who like being outdoors and learning more about the world around them.
Event Programme and Activities
We’re busy planning an exciting programme of days out involving hands-on geology. Every year we mix things up so you see a real variety of areas and aspects of geology. Around that, there will be special talks and activities, as well as time for socialising and games in the evenings when we return to base.
Where We Stay
We will stay at Leeson House, the fabulous field studies centre around plenty of geology-based talks, walks and fun activities for all the family. The staff at the centre are really hands-on and give excellent talks and are knowledgeable guides when we go out into the field.
How Much it Costs
Adult – £355 (18+)
1st Child (up to 17 years old) – £250
2nd and subsequent children (up to 17 years old) – £160
