Sea Dragons in Somerset! Amazing fossils to see and Rockwatchers can find out about them from the experts!

Rockwatchers have been invited on a private tour to see the ichthyosaur and plesiosaur fossils in the Alfred Gillet Collection. These were collected in the late 19th century and rival those held in the Natural History Museum in London, the universities of Oxford and Cambridge and the National Museum of Wales. As well as being taken round the collection there will be other activities during the day, but these have not yet been finalised.

The fieldtrip is taking place on Saturday 17 February 2018 from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

You must be a Rockwatch member to go and the booking fee for this fieldtrip is £2.50 per person. All children attending and their accompanying adults must book places.
