Rockwatch Field Trip to Much Wenlock in Shropshire. (note Date Change)

For an exciting new approach to Silurian fossils at Lea Quarry, join Eddie Bailey and Susan Brown. This will be our forth visit to this Rockwatch favourite where we’ll see rocks of the Silurian Period in the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation.

The benches and tips in the quarry contain typical reef fossils such as small brachiopods. Lots to find and take home with you.
