Rockwatch Field Trip to Much Wenlock

Lea Quarry, Much Wenlock Shropshire

Join Rockwatch on our Field Trip to Much Wenlock in Shropshire on Sunday 22 May 10.30 – 3.00.

For an exciting new approach to Silurian fossils at Lea Quarry, join Eddie Bailey and Susan Brown. This will be our forth visit to this Rockwatch favourite where we’ll see rocks of the Silurian Period in the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation.

The benches and tips in the quarry contain typical reef fossils such as small brachiopods. Lots to find and take home with you.

Places are limited and you can now book online. We hope you can join us.
