Go hunting for fossils from the Jurassic, around 160 million years ago!

Will Watts and his team have invited Rockwatchers along on a fossil hunting expedition.  With the help of experienced leaders you should have no problem finding wonderful fossils – and they will be on hand to tell you what you’ve found!  A grand day out for the whole family – as long as you have stout foodwear or willies, and bags or buckets to put your finds in.  The trip is 3 hours long with an extension of up to two hours for Rockwatchers who may like to carry on hunting with the experts.  Rockwatchers also have a reduced fee.  Just use the weblink https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/runswick-bay-fossil-hunting-trip-24-aug-17-tickets-33149089820 or go to the Hidden Horizons website and look for the fieldtrip on August 24.  Click on tickets and when it asks for a promotional code enter ‘Rockwatch’ and you’ll get the special price of £2.50 per ticket.

Rockwatch does it safely…
