📅 Saturday 11 April 2026 | 🕙 10.00am–4.00pm

Step back into the Late Cretaceous on this exciting Rockwatch field trip to Folkestone, where some of the last dinosaurs to walk in Britain left their footprints behind.

We’ll explore the famous Copt Point exposure on the rocky foreshore, guided by Steve Friedrich, who discovered many of the dinosaur tracks here alongside Phil Hadland. After a picnic lunch, we’ll walk through Folkestone’s vibrant Creative Quarter to visit Folkestone Museum, where curator Corie Clover will give us a special behind-the-scenes tour, including items not normally on public display.
