The Geological Society is taking part in ‘Open House’ London when the doors of various buildings, usually closed to the public, are opened for you to enjoy! The event celebrates all that is best of the capital’s buildings and you have to opportunity to look around this amazing historic building. The Geological Society houses an original William Smith Map, ‘The Map that Changed the World’, and impressive Ichthyosaur, a famous painting of Mary Anning and many other treasures.
To visit is free but you must book and you do that through the Open House website www.openhouselondon.org.uk
