The Lapworth Museum of Geology has over 250,000 specimens and Rockwatchers are lucky to have been invited on a ‘behind the scenes’ tour to see many of it’s hidden treasures!
Festival of Geology 2018
Fabulous Festival with lots of young geologists! Rocks, fossils, minerals, microscopes and Moon rocks – what more could you ask! If you didn’t make it – put it in your diary for next year when it will be on Saturday November 2nd. Make it a firm date!

The Festival of Geology, the largest free festival of it’s kind in London, is this weekend. Come along and see the Moon Rocks, attend a lecture, go on a geology trail and visit the stands of displays, rocks, fossils and minerals. All completely free from 10.30 – 4.00 Saturday 3 November at Wilkins Building, University College London, Gower Street, WC1E 6BT
