We recently had a great day at Ware Museum in Hertfordshire – a day of geological fun! We were there with Jurassic Dioramas, fossil plaster casting, puzzles and more and the sun shone! Both outside and inside and outside this wonderful little museum was a hive of activity. Thank you everyone who came along and joined us in this geology day!
Dino-craft at the British Geological Survey, NHM London – Tuesday 16 April
Family craft fun! Rockwatch is having a Dino-Craft Day in the British Geological Survey shop on the ground floor of the Natural History Museum, London. Come along and make a plaster of Paris trilobite, handle fossils and bring your own to be identified. Fabulous fieldtrip to see the Ichthyosaurs in Street, Somerset
Rockwatchers had a really fabulous time on a private tour of the Alfred Gillet Museum in Street, Somerset. The Museum houses some of the finest Ichthyosaur fossils in the country and we had the benefit of experts showing us around. Thank you to everyone involved! Find out all about dinosaur family life! The National Museum of Wales is hosting the world’s most amazing finds of dinosaur eggs and embryos. It includes dinosaur skeletons and replicas, touchable models and details about how they looked after their babies. You can also learn to identify the different dinosaur eggs.
