Join Rockwatch in the last in a series of special events celebrating Chilterns Chalk on Thursday 11 April from 10.30am-5.00pm.

We’re thrilled to be joining the Chilterns Landscape Partnership and the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Steam Railway for their final event celebrating Chilterns chalk.

Whilst taking a nostalgic trip by steam train, you’ll be transported back in time with Geologist Haydon Bailey and archaeologist Wendy Morrison as they talk about how chalk was formed in the Chilterns millions of years ago and how chalk has been used through time by people living in and around the area.

The talks and activities planned are suitable for all ages so this is a great day out for all the family.

To find out more and to book your train ticket, visit the Chilterns Landscape Partnership website.
